By completing and submitting an application form for the BLOCH UK Limited Young Artist Search (the “Search”), you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions.
If you are aged less than 18, you must ensure that your parent or legal guardian also signs off on the application form to signify their consent to your application and their agreement to these terms and conditions on their and your behalf. Proof of age may be required and we may, in our absolute discretion, refuse you entry to the Search and/or disqualify you if we suspect or find that your supporting documents are not genuine.
1. Who are we?
1.1 The Search is being run by BLOCH UK Limited of Second Floor, Town Gate House, Church Street East, Woking, Surrey GU21 6AE (“BLOCH”).
2. The Search
2.1 The aim of the Search is to find new dancing talent who will become BLOCH Young Artist ambassadors.
2.2 The Search will consist of two rounds. The first round (“Round 1”) will run from 29 April 2019 until 4 June 2019. The second round (“Round 2”) will run from 4 June 2019 until 18 June 2019. We expect that successful applicants following the end of Round 2 will be notified by BLOCH on or before 25 June 2019.
3. How to apply
3.1 To apply you must:
(a) for Round 1, complete and submit an online entry form, which can be found here, and upload a 1 minute video of yourself dancing a routine which you believe shows that you have what it takes to become a BLOCH Young Artist, on or before 5pm (UK time) on 4 June 2019.
(b) if you are notified by BLOCH that you have successfully been selected to progress to Round 2, BLOCH will provide you with a dance routine to learn. You must then record a video of you performing your interpretation of that dance routine and upload it in accordance with the instructions notified to you by BLOCH on or before 5pm (UK time) on 18 June 2019.
3.2 No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to apply.
3.3 BLOCH will not accept:
(a) responsibility for applications that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
(b) proof of transmission or attempted transmission as proof of receipt of any application

3.5 The applications will be judged by a panel of three selected by BLOCH at our sole discretion. The decision of the panel of judges (acting reasonably) will be final.
3.6 A list of names of the judges will be available on BLOCH website during competition period.
4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands and Russia except:
(a) employees of BLOCH or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of BLOCH or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Search or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the Search, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. BLOCH may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 BLOCH will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) photocopies and not originals; or
4.4 There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5 BLOCH reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Search and/or if you behave in a manner which could or would bring BLOCH or its products into disrepute (regardless of whether such behaviour is part of the Search or otherwise) and/or if you fail to comply with any of the requirements of these terms and conditions or any other requirement reasonably notified to you by BLOCH in connection with the Search or the prize.
4.6 Applications and videos cannot be returned.
5. If you succeed!
5.1 We have up to 10 ambassador roles for new Young Artists. If you are successful, BLOCH will notify you and provide you with a contract for your role as a Young Artist ambassador.
5.2 Your Young Artist ambassador contract will provide, among other things, for:
(a) you to be an ambassador for 1 year with you being included in BLOCH's Instagram bio and featured on BLOCH's social media pages;
(b) a monthly BLOCH product allowance of up to £50/€60 per month to spend on BLOCH products;
(c) a public relations product allowance of up to £375/€430 for the full twelve months of your ambassadorship, to spend on products approved by BLOCH;
(d) exclusive BLOCH branded apparel provided by BLOCH.
Receipt of the benefits of the contract will be subject to you complying with its terms at all times.
5.3 There is no cash alternative for the prize. The prize is also not negotiable or transferable.
5.4 BLOCH will provide you with full details of how to claim your prize and enter into the Young Artist ambassador contract should you be selected. Please note that success in Round 1 does not guarantee any entitlement to an ambassadorship or imply in any way that you will be successful in Round 2.
6.1 The decision of the judges nominated by BLOCH is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 BLOCH will contact the winner(s) personally as soon as practicable on or before 25 June 2019, using the telephone number or email address provided with the application you submit. BLOCH will not amend any contact information once your application has been submitted, so please ensure you provide the correct details.
6.3 The winners of the Search will be announced on our website and social media channels on or about 25 June 2019.
6.4 If you are a winner, you will have  of days from being notified by BLOCH to claim the prize by entering into the Young Artist ambassador contract. If you do not do so by this date, your claim will become invalid and you may no longer be selected as an ambassador.
6.5 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
6.6 BLOCH will make all reasonable efforts to contact winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within the timeframe above, BLOCH reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible applicant selected from the applications that were received before the relevant deadline dates referred to above.
6.7 BLOCH does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
7. Limitation of liability
7.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, BLOCH, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of BLOCH, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Ownership of applications, videos and intellectual property rights
8.1 All application entries and any accompanying video and material submitted to BLOCH will become the property of BLOCH on receipt and will not be returned.
8.2 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying video and material, you agree to:
(a) assign to BLOCH all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee; and
(b) waive all moral rights,
in and to your application entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.
8.3 You agree that BLOCH may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website and any other social or other media channels, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the Search. You agree to grant BLOCH a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying video and materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the application entry and any accompanying video and materials for such purposes.
9. Data protection
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, BLOCH may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the Search or withhold or cancel any prize.
10.2 BLOCH reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Search where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.3 Should there be any dispute regarding your participation in the Search or the outcome of the Search, our decision on this dispute shall be final.
10.4 You are solely responsible for any and all costs or expenses incurred by you in applying to the Search or your participation in it.
10.5 You accept and acknowledge that due to the large volume of applications which may be received, BLOCH will not acknowledge or respond to each and every application but only to those applications who we wish to put forward to the next round and/or who are successfully chosen to become ambassadors.
10.6 You warrant and undertake that all information submitted by you in your application is genuine, complete and accurate. You further warrant and undertake that all video and other content and materials provided by you in connection with the Search are your original works and do not infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party. You also confirm that nothing in your application or accompanying video or materials will in any way breach any contract or duty of confidence, be derogatory, defamatory, abusive, pornographic or offensive, nor expose us to civil or criminal proceedings or in any way breach any applicable law.
10.7 You agree that you will comply with all relevant laws in connection with the Search and any prize you may receive and that you will not engage in any activity, practice or conduct which would or could constitute tax evasion or an offence under the Bribery Act 2010.
10.8 You further agree to keep confidential at all times and not to disclose any confidential information, videos or materials relating to BLOCH, the Search or other applicants which may come to your knowledge as a result of your participation in the Search or your communication with BLOCH or other applicants. This will not apply to information already in the public domain (other than due to your breach of this clause).
10.9 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Where applicable, prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate appropriate to the country of receipt within the EU.
Student discount codes - Discount codes may vary from time to time and may change at any given time without prior notification. Codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account holder in respect of which the discount code was offered by and registered with BLOCH.
Promotional discount codes - We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made through this Website.
By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
In addition to the Distance Selling Regulations, you can return any item (except tights and underwear) within 28 days of receipt for a refund or a direct exchange for a different size/colour of the same product. Orders returned after the 28 days will not be accepted and sent back out to the customer.
A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you.

We, BLOCH UK Ltd, the Supplier shall use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Goods comply with their description, are of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
Where we fail to use such reasonable endeavours, the Buyer shall notify us (BLOCH UK Ltd) within 7 days of delivery in writing and our sole obligation shall be to repair, replace or supply the Goods.
Nothing contained in our Terms and Conditions shall be construed so as to limit or exclude the liability of the Supplier for death or personal injury as a result of the Supplier’s negligence or that of its employees or agents.
All Intellectual Property Rights in the Goods shall, so far as not already vested, be the absolute property of the BLOCH. The Buyer shall not register any Intellectual Property Rights or claim any such rights in the Goods and shall keep any rights notice of the suppliers on the Goods and shall notify the supplier if, it discovers any infringement of the supplier’s such rights by a third party. The buyer acknowledges that it has no right or license by virtue of having purchased the Goods or otherwise itself to manufacture the Goods.
