Digital Marketing Manager – Fixed Term Maternity Cover (13 months)

The role of Digital Marketing Manager is to strategically manage our paid and organic online channels across the UK, US and EU markets. This is an exciting and dynamic role in which you will be managing Bloch’s digital marketing channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, Organic Search & Marketplaces.

You will be an expert in digital strategy, knowing which levers to pull to increase performance, as well as in data analysis – ensuring you are driving efficient sales within budget.

You will receive some support from the Ecommerce Executive, but you will be expected to be ‘hands-on’ in channel management.

This is a 13-month fixed term maternity cover role.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Hands-on management of PPC campaigns for UK and US markets, working across Search, Shopping & Performance Max campaigns.
  • Manage the EU PPC agency to grow revenue and profit from Paid Search.
  • Hands-on management of Paid Social campaigns on Meta and other social platforms.
  • Work with our Rakuten account manager and our Ecommerce Executive to grow our affiliate programme.
  • Work with our SEO agency to grow traffic and revenue from Organic Search, managing tasks from technical site updates to new blog articles.
  • Run campaigns on Amazon Ads when required, to support sales through this channel
  • Weekly and monthly trade/channel reporting.
  • Review, recommend, implement tests across digital channels (test & learn approach) to continuously improve performance and ensure campaigns a high impact.
  • Work with the wider Ecommerce team to suggest website improvements/ conversion rate optimisations to maximise revenue and ROAS from digital channel traffic.
  • Budget management to ensure all channels come in on budget and to target, as well as forecasting channel sales and budgets when required.


Skills and Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably in-house at an Ecommerce retailer.
  • Must-have extensive hands-on channel management of Paid Search and Paid Social – we are not looking for someone with only agency management experience.
  • Must have high-level Google Analytics and Excel skills coupled with experience of analysing data, budgeting and forecasting required across different regions/websites.
  • A naturally inquisitive thinker who is able to analyse complex data and draw conclusions, making recommendations for increased performance.
  • Flexible & able to multi-task with the ability to work effectively and in a positive manner when under pressure or in ambiguous situations.
  • Shopify experience would be an advantage.
  • A dance background would be beneficial but not required.


Reports to: Head of Ecommerce

Start Date: June 19th 2023

Hybrid working: Must be able to commute to our office in Woking, Surrey for 2 days a week (25 mins via train from London Waterloo, close to the M25 and M3)
